Since the Monell decision in 1978, the landscape of law enforcement has shifted dramatically, particularly in how liability is managed. While we may reminisce about past methods, it’s clear that we can’t turn back. However, not all changes since Monell have been detrimental—many have led to improvements in law enforcement, government, and the insurance industry. Though it can be challenging to see these positives, this seminar will focus on what we can control: managing and leading liability reduction effectively.
We have more control and better tools for managing liability than many realize. This one-day program emphasizes the enforcement of fundamentals, backed by numerous case studies that engage participants. A key part of the seminar is a discussion on the nobility of law enforcement, reinforcing the importance of your role.
Building on concepts from Phase I and II, this program focuses on enhancing supervisors’ leadership and management skills. We’ll use modern adult education principles, multimedia resources, and engaging materials to create an impactful learning experience.
